A treadmill is ideal to help you get into a regular fitness routine. The compact LS-5T treadmill is an excellent choice for an entry level folding treadmill, ideal for smaller users who want to walk and jog. It is simple to assemble and use, and its small size and folding ability make it a great treadmill for a crowded house or apartment.

The LS-5T folding treadmill is easy to assemble and ready to use in minutes. The console is easy to use and includes 5 preset programs that automatically adjust the speed. Contact sensors on the handlebars monitor your heart rate as you exercise.

Whether you’re a busy mom wanting to focus on your fitness while the kids are in school, or you’re a college student wanting to keep off unwelcomed pounds and keep your mind sharp and stress level low, the compact LifeSpan LS-5T folding treadmill may be right for you. LifeSpan offers a full line of award-winning treadmills, so if the LS-5T doesn’t suit your body size or exercise preferences, consider another LifeSpan treadmill.

Comments from LS-5T Treadmill Owners

The LS-5T treadmill is VERY, VERY easy to assemble, in about 15 minutes, as it comes partially assembled. It is quiet and compact so great for smaller spaces. Perfect for power walking or runner 8 minute miles or slower, but cannot go any faster. If this is your exercise level, you will find this machine just fine. Other treadmills seem unnecessarily bloated in size and options. In summary, simple compact quality machine that gets the job done.

Very easy to assemble. Very light. The track is long enough to run on and is fairly quiet. It’s not very wide, but it doesn’t really need to be. It fit well in my very small living room. It has a manual incline of 3 levels. The LCD is fairly generic but it controls the treadmill and shows basic information, miles, calories, speed and heart rate.

The price isn’t too harsh, and the speed control is precise and start-up not too sudden. If you are about 5′6″ and are already in fair shape, you’ll like this unit; but, if you’re 6′2″ and 250 lbs you’re going to find this unit small-ish… It also folds up and out of the way which is a plus for those using this in a bedroom or another area that’s not a basement.

Finally, Fitness Professor says the TR200 folding treadmill is, "Perfect for those looking for a simple, easy-to-use AND easy-to-store walking treadmill. Hands down the TR200 is our Head of the Class winner for treadmills under $1,000!"

The LifeSpan TR200 folding treadmill is contemporary, convenient and sized perfectly for light users looking for a simple, portable walking treadmill. This compact folding treadmill is surprisingly sturdy, yet small enough to use in any workout space.

It has features not found on similar treadmills such as incline to simulate uphill walking, contact heart rate sensors to monitor heart rate and built-in speakers with premium sound for mp3 tunes. The intuitive console features a large, easy-to-use display with six exercise programs, motivating readouts and quick speed and incline buttons. All this plus it comes fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box.
